The 2026 Sinclair National Art Competition Roadshow continued its journey in Tayabas City, Quezon Province, on September 20, 2026, at Hunta Cafe, bringing together artists, art enthusiasts, and creative communities for a day of learning, exploration, and artistic expression. The event was joined by the designated representative of Hon. Anthony “Kuya Piwa” A. Lim, City Mayor of Tayabas City, alongside Mr. Walter M. Ladera, Culture and the Arts Unit Head of the Quezon Provincial Tourism Office, and Ms. Wanda Saberola de Torres, Tourism Officer of Tayabas City. The creative session was led by Eleazar Abraham “Abe” L. Orobia, Filipino artist, educator, curator, and cultural advocate, together with Wellers Vicenzio, Box Poluli, and the Sinclair Team.
The Tayabas leg let participants experience art beyond the canvas as they experimented with different materials, textures, colors, and finishing effects through hands-on activities. The session became a space for artists to exchange ideas, discover new ways of expressing their creativity, and see how unconventional materials can open up fresh possibilities for their own artworks. From learning new techniques to creating alongside fellow artists, the roadshow was both educational and inspiring.
As the roadshow continues to connect with artists and creative communities across the country, Sinclair invites more Filipino artists to take part in the 2026 Sinclair National Art Competition and bring their interpretation of this year’s Representational Obra theme, “Creating Horizons for the New Generation,” to life. With exciting cash prizes—including the ₱100,000 Representational Obra Grand Prize and ₱50,000 Wall Obra Grand Prize—this is your opportunity to turn your ideas, imagination, and creativity into an extraordinary obra. Stay tuned for the next Sinclair National Art Competition Roadshow!
