Beams that suffer from spalling or honeycombs can still be repaired!
In this project, Engr. Billy Aceron contacted our page to inquire about a product that can repair the spalled concrete beams of a house in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
Spalling and honeycombs in beams could be caused by the lack of admixture, improper vibration, or reusing of phenolic boards. Fortunately, such problems can still be solved using a repair mortar with a greater strength than the concrete to be repaired.
SOLIDCURE is a highly flowable, non-shrink grout that can achieve a compressive strength of 8,000 psi. It is a non-shrink, cement-based, high-strength expanding grout specially formulated for critical grouting operations, where positive expansion and non-staining characteristics are required.
